Book My Free WalkthroughPlaquemine is the parish seat of Iberville Parish, an old river town built around the bayou, the historic lock and the plants along the Mississippi. Parish Concrete Contractors pours driveways, patios, shop pads and concrete slabs in Plaquemine and across Iberville Parish.
Plaquemine's older neighborhoods near downtown, Railroad Avenue and Bayou Plaquemine have homes dating back generations, with narrow drives, small yards and old concrete that has settled over the years. Newer subdivisions have grown up along LA 1 and the outskirts of town. The ground here is Mississippi River alluvium, mostly heavy clay that moves with the seasons and drains slowly, so we spend time on base prep and slope. The town is low and flat, and drainage depends on ditches, canals and the bayou, so a slab that's set too low or pitched the wrong way can cause trouble. With a lot of residents working at the nearby plants, many people here have work trucks, trailers and boats that need a good, solid place to park.
Building permits inside city limits go through the City of Plaquemine, while unincorporated areas nearby go through the Iberville Parish permits and inspections office. Driveway connections to LA 1 or other state routes may need an LA DOTD access permit.
We handle the permits, HOA approval and 811 locates for you.

On a job with this many moving parts, something will eventually go sideways. When it does, you call your project manager and it gets handled. If it is bigger than that, I come look at it myself.
