Driveways, patios, shop pads and concrete slabs in Central. A commercial 3,500 PSI mix with fiber goes into every pour.
Pour it once, pour it right. One firm price in writing, usually the same day we walk it.
Book My Free WalkthroughCentral has kept a lot of its country feel, with bigger lots, long gravel drives and plenty of shops and barns behind the house. Parish Concrete Contractors serves Central and the rest of northeast East Baton Rouge Parish with driveways, patios, shop pads and concrete slabs.
Central sits between the Comite and Amite rivers, and the 2016 flood hit this city hard. Since then, a lot of homeowners have rebuilt, raised or re-graded, and drainage is the first thing we look at on any Central job. Lots here are often an acre or more, so driveways run long and usually cross a roadside ditch with a culvert at the road. Soils are a mix of silty loam and clay that holds water after a big rain, so base prep and proper slope matter more than they would on a small city lot. You'll find older homes on wide-open lots along Hooper, Sullivan and Greenwell Springs Road alongside newer subdivisions with HOA standards. Many people here are finally replacing gravel or shell drives with concrete, and that's a good time to fix the low spots and ditch crossings at the same time.
The City of Central handles building permits for property inside city limits, and a new or changed culvert or driveway at the road usually needs city approval too. On state routes like Greenwell Springs Road (LA 37), the driveway connection may also need an LA DOTD access permit.
We handle the permits, HOA approval and 811 locates for you.

On a job with this many moving parts, something will eventually go sideways. When it does, you call your project manager and it gets handled. If it is bigger than that, I come look at it myself.
“We aren’t perfect. We do make mistakes, but I promise we will fix anything and leave you satisfied when done.”

From the walkthrough to the last sweep, one project manager runs your pour.
We measure the pour, shoot the grade and look at where water goes today.
One total price in writing, usually the same day we walk it.
Permits, HOA approval and 811 locates are our calls to make.
Excavation, forms and expansion joints where required, then 3,500 PSI with fiber.
We walk the finished pour with you before we call it done.
It changes how much attention we give the grade. We look at where water comes from and where it needs to go, and we form the slab so it doesn't trap water against the house or the shop.
We'll look at it on the walkthrough and tell you what we see. Any work at the road usually needs city approval, so we'll point you to the right office before we schedule.
Yes. We offer financing through HFS Financial, and we can talk through it during your walkthrough.
Fiber is in every pour. If a driveway will see commercial vehicles, heavy trailers or RVs, we recommend adding steel highway mesh or rebar, quoted as an add-on.
10% deposit to get scheduled, 50% the morning of install, and the balance upon completion.
Yes. We finance through HFS Financial, our sole financing partner. Checking your rate is a soft inquiry and does not affect your credit score.
Free walkthrough, no obligation. For most projects your written proposal arrives the same day.
“Concrete is the one thing in your yard you cannot redo cheaply, so we pour it right the first time.”
